with a decade thats passed

that pulls me to my knees from fishing lines
melting prides into the warm soothing bath,
caught by one well placed cast of an eyelash
smile for the beautiful butterfl

its for the ones who are defined, and pigenholed
by the ones equally unkind, and forced to grow
its a requiem for lives that get mowed
hearts, feelings and emotions get controlled
and dominated by a world described
by the passage of time

to your unbalanced equation
the sum is a remainder, of your dreams desecrated
where hopes and high spirits are translated and compounded
to a life reformatted and founded
in a world no longer fruitful much less boundless
